Internet wanderers! I hope that not all of you have have made it here are lost?
Yes, yes I do wilfully misquote Tolkien at times. I also take liberties with The Princess Bride ("Have fun storming the castle!", anyone?), Pride and Prejudice, Dracula, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Consider yourself warned.

What else about me? I'm an English export to Wales, a wife to one lovely bearded gentleman (Michael), and a mum to two reasonably cheerful and mostly adorably fantastic children (Henry and Iris). Our household is rounded off by two cats (Baldur and Buttercup) who can only really be described as epic (although ginger, white, and fluffy are also pretty accurate adjectives, now I come to think about it...).
I'm more than a little bit tempted to just leave a photo of the cats here instead of proving I have human form, but I suppose I'd better show my face. Thirty years of avoiding direct sunlight went into making that, so appreciate!

I used to blog at A Little Sun Shy back in 2010 - 2012, and a lot of my reviews from those days can still be found by hunting through my Goodreads page. Life (by which I mean juggling university and family!) got in the way of that little endeavour, but here I am back blogging again! Be kind, lovelies.
